Connection

Phone won't connect to desktop

Check Bluetooth is on for both devices, that they're within 10m, and that the AirMouse desktop agent is running in your system tray.

Ensure microphone permission is granted in System Settings. Check that the activation key isn't conflicting with another app shortcut.

Cursor feels laggy or jumpy

Switch to BLE mode in Settings → Connection. Disable battery saver on your phone. Move away from 2.4GHz Wi-Fi interference sources.

    Disable Bluetooth interferenceTurn off other BLE devices nearby. Move away from USB 3.0 ports, which are known to emit 2.4GHz interference affecting Bluetooth.

    Update Bluetooth firmwareCheck for system updates on both devices. macOS Sonoma and iOS 17 include Bluetooth stack improvements that reduce drops.

    Enable BLE fallback in settingsIn AirMouse → Settings → Connection, enable "BLE-only mode". This eliminates classic Bluetooth negotiation and delivers the most stable link.
